100 years of the BECK Group – growth and consistency in its fourth generation!

Since 1925, the BECK Group has stood for partnership, expertise, and entrepreneurial foresight based on a strong set of values. The BECK Group is the oldest distributor of electronic components in the world.

What began a hundred years ago on August 1, 1925, with Gustav Beck's industrial agency in Nuremberg is now a modern, internationally positioned family-owned group of companies with locations in Germany and Asia, but firmly rooted in the Nuremberg region and now in its fourth generation.

Today, the group includes BECK GmbH & Co. Elektronik Bauelemente KG, Beck Kabel- und Gehäusetechnik GmbH (BKG), distronik GmbH, Beck Elektronik Display GmbH (BED), and BEC (Asia) Ltd. in Hong Kong. Together, they combine their individual strengths to form a prosperous overall system: customer-oriented, solution-oriented, and forward-looking.

For 100 years, we have been constantly evolving through our proximity to the market, our technological expertise, and our close partnership with our customers and suppliers. Our anniversary is an occasion to look back, but above all a commitment to the future: with responsibility, courage, and the experience of a century of family business.

Official reception to mark the 100th anniversary

On August 1, the company's founding day, we celebrated our 100th anniversary together with invited guests, our staff, and the Beck family of entrepreneurs. At the official reception at the company headquarters in Nuremberg, Mayor Marcus König, Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vice President Johannes Bisping, and Dr. Susanne Hoffmann, Head of Economic Development for the City of Nuremberg, among others, addressed us with personal greetings. The Bavarian Association of Wholesale, Foreign Trade and Services (LGAD), represented by its Managing Director Dr. Christian Klingler and Communications Officer Samira Kohrt, presented a certificate of honor to mark the 100th anniversary.

The speeches and encounters were marked by appreciation, solidarity, and a shared vision of the future – a special moment for the entire BECK Group.
